Vattenfall Eldistribution AB distributes electricity to households, companies and society - around the clock all year round. Our electricity network is over 12,000 miles long and we distribute electricity to almost 900,000 customers. We build, operate, maintain and invest in our electricity network to ensure that you as a customer receive a reliable supply.

Vattenfall Eldistribution, Asset Management unit, is responsible for the management of our facilities and electricity network. The Network Analysis LN group works with the dimensioning of the electricity network, and we are now looking for an assistant network analyst for a summer job.

About the role

Summer jobs at Vattenfall are an opportunity for you as a student to gain experience and an insight into what it is like to work at a large Swedish energy company. The unit is responsible for the control and monitoring of Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's electricity network, with a focus on ensuring stable and efficient operation.

In the role, you will handle cases related to our customers and facilities, focusing on low voltage, fault observations and outage statistics. This is a unique opportunity to get an internal training in the profession (4-5 weeks) and then work independently in our operations center. The summer job will give you hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of electricity network operation, while serving as a foundation for future recruitment opportunities with us.

Requirements

Requirements:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently.
• You are a student at a college, university of applied sciences or university.
• It is meritorious if you study in electrical power.
• Experience as a lineman is an advantage.

We are looking for you who:

• Are calm and stable, even in stressful situations, and focus on the right things.
• Have empathic ability and can put yourself in the perspective of others without taking over their feelings.
• Attentive, courteous and solution-oriented in your approach.
• Planning and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
