Forsmark nuclear power plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden and we produce one sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. About the role

The team is responsible for ensuring that the areas of dosimetry and whole body measurement and radiological environmental control are maintained and operated to high standards.

Your role will involve practical work in dosimetry, reviewing and managing access documents and dose passes, as well as responsibility for archiving and record keeping. You will also be involved in whole body measurements and participate in the preparation and handling of samples within the environmental monitoring program.

This summer job offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of varied and varied tasks with a clear scientific connection. Working at the NAOD also provides an excellent introduction to the activities of the GN-AO unit, Operational Radiation Protection.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish, and preferably have knowledge of English.
  • You are studying an upper secondary education in science.
  • It is an advantage if you are studying a university education with a focus on physics/radiation protection.
  • It is an advantage if you have a B driving license.
  • Previous work at FKA, radiation protection and dosimetry is an advantage.
