About the role

The Power Analysis group constitutes Ringhals' cutting-edge competence in electric power analysis and is responsible for the design of the plant's electric power system.

The group's main task is to perform various types of static and dynamic calculations and to manage and develop analysis tools and simulation models for the purpose. Examples of tasks within the group are interaction between the grid and power plants, relay protection coordination and calculations/simulations of the nuclear power units' internal local power networks with components such as generators, transformers, large motors, power electronics, etc.

The summer job will provide you with personal development and valuable experience for your future career. Furthermore, you will also be given an insight into what it is like to work at such a large company as Vattenfall. You will use your theoretical knowledge to solve highly topical technical problems in the field of electrical power.


Requirements

We are looking for you who study electrical power at college or university level, preferably at master's level. You have completed a few years of education and acquired knowledge in the field. You have good analytical skills, are driven and independent. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement as reports and documentation are written in both languages.
