About the role

Within the Ringhals mechanical maintenance unit, there are two operational groups, distributed towards the reactor and turbine side of the plants, whose main goal is to ensure the required operational reliability of mechanical equipment. This means planning and performing maintenance activities, preventive and corrective maintenance, on mechanical components and systems within the assigned area of responsibility.

As a Technician, you are an important part of maintaining the plant to obtain the required operational reliability. You perform maintenance on mechanical components, such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, ventilation equipment and diesel engines. Safety, both for the person and the plant, is of the highest priority.

The work as a Technician means that you will have the opportunity to work practically with mechanical components linked to planned maintenance measures but also troubleshooting in the event of deviations. It also includes preparation and coordination to work safely and get a good flow in the work. As a Technician, you get a broad insight into Ringhals' operations and a solid foundation for further development.


Requirement specification

We are looking for you who are currently studying with a focus on technology, industry, vehicles or nature, post-secondary studies are meritorious.

You like to work practically and have an interest in technology. You are also comfortable expressing yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, good English skills are an advantage.

B driving license is an advantage.

We are looking for you who can take your own initiative and who drive your work forward. The work requires close cooperation, both internally in the group and with supporting functions. We therefore value that you are a team player who contributes to a good team climate. Working at a nuclear power plant means that safety is of the utmost importance.
