About the role

In this role, you will work in the Materials and Structural Integrity group, NUQM, working in the areas of materials engineering, welding technology, aging management, degradation, fracture mechanics and strength, as well as control programs for periodic inspection.

The main task consists of managing and compiling data from materials engineering investigations carried out in the materials laboratory.

You will gain a comprehensive insight into the management of long-term aging and maintenance strategies on components such as the primary systems (reactor vessel, steam generator, pressure vessel, main circulation pump, etc.) and how data is used in the evaluation of components to analyze, among other things, service life.


Requirement specification

We are looking for you who are 18 years old and studying at upper secondary school in the fields of technology or nature. You are fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

We are looking for you who are self-driven, responsible and good at driving the work forward. You don't give up when faced with obstacles and keep working towards your goals. With a service-oriented attitude, you help find solutions in a calm and courteous manner. You are organized and perform your tasks with high quality within given time frames.
