About the job

The Assembly unit consists of three groups; Workshop, Electrical Assembly and Mechanical & Construction Assembly. The unit is responsible for all new assembly in the plant as well as manufacturing in our own workshop.

We are now looking for a supervisor for the Mechanical & Construction Assembly group. The group is responsible for all welding that takes place in the plant and also performs maintenance work on behalf of the maintenance responsible units Mekunderhåll and Byggunderhåll. Our goal is to always deliver on time and in the right quality. The group currently consists of 10 driven and helpful employees who have a good spread in terms of age and work experience where we actively work to utilize everyone's strengths.

Your main tasks

The work manager plans, prepares and supervises assembly and maintenance work in the plant. This includes securing staff resources, ordering materials, scheduling, risk assessment, coordination and management of contractors and employees. The supervisor has many contact areas and works closely with various functions at the plant, such as welders, pipe fitters and construction workers, but also supervisors from other units, schedulers, operations representatives, the construction department and others. The role requires good interpersonal skills with a high level of quality awareness. To thrive in the position, high administrative ability is required where accuracy and safety thinking are in focus.

As a supervisor, you get great freedom to solve problems as you see fit. The supervisor will drive the implementation from planning to completion. We have a fantastic motivating team that helps and supports each other.



Requirements


As our new supervisor, you need to have the following qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent work experience
  • You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English both in speech and writing
  • Basic experience of the Office package and basic IT habit
  • Advantageous with experience in welding, pipe and valve assembly, construction (concrete and reinforcement), management of staff, planning and coordination as well as administration
  • Advantageous with plant knowledge and IWS training (International Welding Specialist) or similar


To succeed in the role, you need to be a confident and clear leader who thrives in a central position with a large network of contacts where you with your drive lead and plan the daily work of the group. Something we attach great importance to is a good ability to collaborate with both external and internal functions and suppliers. You strive to achieve high quality in what is to be delivered by working in a structured and quality-conscious manner and have the ability to engage your employees and create effective teams.
