Now we are looking for Work Manager for the Mechanical Maintenance unit at Ringhals.

About the job

Mechanical maintenance at Ringhals consists of two operational groups, distributed towards the reactor and turbine side of the plants, whose main goal is to ensure the required operational safety of mechanical equipment. The groups consist of technicians, supervisors, engineers and planning engineers who plan and implement maintenance activities in mechanical maintenance.

The unit is in both a development phase after completed reorganization and an ongoing rejuvenation process. This means exciting opportunities to be involved in creating routines and working methods for the mechanical maintenance of the future.

The business is extensive and spans several technical areas, which provides good opportunities to both broaden and deepen their technical skills. Several employees have previously grown in their roles in mechanical maintenance, and this background has proven to be attractive in further development and career steps within Ringhals.

Your tasks

As a Supervisor, you lead the daily work in mechanical maintenance with a focus on safety and structure. Among other things, you will:

  • Prepare, prepare, distribute and lead the daily work to be performed
  • Support and act as a sounding board for the group's employees and other groups involved
  • Lead hired staff in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and health and safety correct manner
  • Interact with many professional groups both within and outside their own group to make the whole work

To succeed in the role, good cooperation and co-planning with other maintenance groups is required, operations and service groups.

Requirements

We would like applicants to have:

  • Basic technical education, preferably post-secondary, or equivalent experience in maintenance work
  • Experience from maintenance planning and/or process industry
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and basic knowledge of English
  • Good habit and experience of working with IT systems, experience in the SAP maintenance system is meritorious
  • EFNMS certification as Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Technician is meritorious
