About the role
Are you an engineer with experience from process technology and want to help shape the fossil-free energy supply of the future? Now we are looking for a driven and committed system engineer to our group System Strategy Process Systems also called NTAP at Ringhals, one of Sweden's largest electricity producers. Together we work to ensure long-term, reliable and safe operation of our plants - a mission where you can make a difference!
The NTAP group is responsible for maintaining, developing and decommissioning Ringhals plants. As a systems engineer, you work together with operations, maintenance and engineering to proactively manage and develop our systems. The common goal is to prevent predictable failures in the plants and ensure that Ringhals continues to deliver safe and fossil-free electricity.
We are an inclusive and competent group with good cohesion of ten people. Everyone has a background in different disciplines such as operations, chemistry, maintenance and engineering, and most have long experience from Ringhals. The group was created in 2019, which means that working methods and positions are under development. We work in a dynamic environment where the skills and perspectives of each employee are valuable in achieving reliable system management.
Your tasks:
As a system engineer with us, you have a central role in maintaining and developing plant reliability and availability at system level. Your main tasks include:
You will report to the Head of System Strategy Process Systems and actively collaborate with colleagues in Operations, maintenance and engineering and participate in several cross-technical forums both internally and externally, including international collaborations with WANO and EPRI.

About you
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:
Experience from nuclear power as well as good knowledge of reactor or turbine systems is meritorious.
We are looking for you who want to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries. With your unpretentious attitude, you easily connect with different groups, from operations and maintenance to engineering, to achieve common goals.
You have the ability to tackle complex problems by seeing the big picture and thinking long-term. You are able to analyze information, identify consequences and present well-founded solutions with clear justifications.
In addition, you are determined and take on new challenges with energy and commitment. You dare to question ways of working, take help when needed and have a strong motivation to take responsibility and lead the work in your field.
