Do you want to be involved in the development and management of IT/OT solutions that are crucial for Sweden's future energy supply? Vattenfall Vattenkraft is now looking for a systems engineer to join our team for operational and process-related IT/OT environments.

You will work with Vattenfall Vattenkraft's operational and process-related IT/OT infrastructure. In our group, we are responsible for the operation and management of a number of applications. These applications are usually linked to various functions in our hydropower plants. These include access control, camera surveillance, intruder alarms, other alarm management and various types of measurement data collection. In this position, you will focus on the development and management of these applications and systems for monitoring - functions that are crucial for safe, stable and efficient production.

We work with support tools for IT/OT management, such as system documentation, operational monitoring and log management. Here we use both open-source solutions and commercial alternatives. An important part of the management work is documentation, ranging from overall system descriptions and overview images to details that are of importance for operation, management and troubleshooting. In your role as IT/OT manager, you may also be involved as a project participant in the development and implementation of new systems or functions.

You will be part of a close-knit team of ten people where we work closely together in a helpful and open culture. IT security is a central part of everything we do, and we are looking for you who have a high level of security awareness and are curious about being at the forefront of technology.

Requirement specification

For the position of system engineer in IT/OT management, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience and education
• Worked for a few years with operation/maintenance of IT systems, preferably in data centers/server operations.

In addition, you have experience in one of the following areas:

• Operating systems - Linux, Windows
• Frameworks or models such as ITIL and PM3
• Identity management and access control
• Systems for CCTV, passage and intrusion alarms
• Basic understanding of virtualization.

Our IT/OT systems are often part of so-called industrial control systems (ICS) where the systems both control and monitor facilities. Experience of working in environments with industrial IT systems is therefore meritorious.

As a person, you like to create order and structure and you are happy to contribute to the group with ideas and solutions. Ability to work both independently and in a team is important, you will have a lot of collaboration both within our company and sometimes at group level.

You speak and write both Swedish and English. After introduction, system readiness can be part of the service. Travel occurs, you have a B-driving license.
