Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future.Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To deliver high availability in our production, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities.



About the role


About the role:

As a team leader with us, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a dynamic and self-driven team consisting of six production technicians in collaboration with the plant engineer and group manager. You will work closely with our maintenance group and be responsible for two hydropower plants along the Ångerman River. The service is located on daytime Monday to Friday.

Your main duties include:

  • Work management, daily management, planning and follow-up
  • Ensuring readiness and that routines are followed
  • Accident reporting, order management and permit checks
  • Systematic work environment management
  • Coordination responsibility for permanent site



Requirements specification


We are looking for you who:

  • Have a degree in engineering and electricity/electricity
  • Have experience in planning and/or work management and operation and maintenance of hydropower plants
  • A positive, committed and initiative-taking
  • Have good IT skills, preferably experience with SAP and planning tools
  • Speaks and writes both Swedish and English
  • Holds a B-driving license
