Hydro
Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future.Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To deliver high availability in our production, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities. You will be an important part of that work!
About the role
Our team in Boden is now looking for a temporary worker who can step into the role of Production Technician starting this summer!
As a production technician, you work together in a team with operation and maintenance at the hydropower plants. The job includes tasks such as performing rounds, periodic jobs troubleshooting and repairs at the plant.
Requirements
To work in the role of production technician, the following is required:
- You have studied an upper secondary education in electricity, post-secondary education is meritorious.
- Experience working with hydraulics is meritorious.
- You are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing, English is meritorious.
We see that you as a person are confident, stable and have self-insight. You are responsible and have a structured work style where you carefully perform your tasks to achieve good quality. We also see that you are responsive and communicative and enjoy working with other people.
