Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for marketing and sales of electricity contracts for households and small businesses in the Nordic region. We are part of BA Customers & Solutions which also includes district heating, E-Mobility and decentralized energy solutions like solar panels. Our organization has an agile way of working and consists of several cross-functional business teams and a number of specialized teams working closely with them.

Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are now looking for a driven and enthusiastic Test Lead, who will play a key role in ensuring good quality and functionality of our user interfaces both on the web and in our mobile app. In the role, you will be responsible for identifying testing needs as well as planning, designing and executing both manual and automated test cases, with the aim of validating usability and functionality.

By working closely with product owners, development teams and other stakeholders, you will identify relevant issues to test, ensuring that business needs are met in an efficient manner.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA strategies, processes and methodologies to meet our quality objectives and ensure reliable, user-centered releases
  • Collaborate with business teams and other stakeholders to define testing needs, testing requirements and priorities, in consultation with requirements analysts, UX and developers
  • Design, write and execute both manual and automated test cases, with a focus on acceptance testing
  • Analyze user feedback and quality metrics to continuously identify improvement opportunities
  • Drive improvements in test coverage and automation and in collaboration with developers optimize release processes and reduce manual work.
  • Foster a culture of quality ownership in the organization through mentoring, collaboration and transparent communication



Requirements


We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in testing and quality assurance, and who wants to help ensure that our products are of the highest standard. To succeed in the role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, focusing on acceptance testing of digital web services or mobile apps targeting consumers or small businesses
  • In-depth knowledge of test planning, test methodology, execution and reporting of tests
  • Good experience in both manual and automated user interface testing
  • Experience in building and leading testing and quality assurance, including selecting testing tools and designing effective processes
  • Extensive experience collaborating with business stakeholders as well as requirements analysts, UX specialists and developers to ensure the QA perspective throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Good understanding of agile working and experience of working in scrum teams.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience working with stakeholder management, test management and testing as a consultant or in a larger company or organization.
  • A strong interest in the energy industry and the desire to contribute to sustainable solutions by creating digital services with high quality and a good customer experience
  • Certification in, for example, ISTQB
  • Experience in ensuring good availability in digital interfaces that support WCGA AA
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, UiPath or Playwright, as well as experience of API automation testing with tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

As a person, you are thorough and reliable, you perform your work in a structured way and deliver on time with good quality. You also have good collaboration skills and can contribute to joint initiatives through clear communication and dialog with relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, you are decisive and approach problems and challenges with a sense of energy and enthusiasm. You have strong problem-solving skills and a thoroughness in your work that helps you to independently and together with others lead our test work from requirements to implementation.
