About the thesis

• The thesis is carried out in the Operation Engineering group, which is part of the Maintenance and Technology department at Vattenfall Värme Sverige. Within the group, system optimization is carried out as well as technical investigations and operational follow-ups of various kinds.
• The background to the thesis is stricter environmental requirements, especially for antimony. In the purification process of antimony and other heavy metals, there is a risk of getting elevated values if the plant does not work optimally.
• The goal / purpose of the thesis is to investigate whether an electronic tongue can be used to control the purification process of flue gas condensate at the waste incineration.
• This assignment is for either 1 or 2 student(s).

Your profile

We are looking for you who are student(s) who want to work towards a fossil-free future and who will soon graduate from your academic studies. You are also someone who identifies with our principles: Active, Open, Positive and Safety.

• Education - in energy, environment or chemistry.
• Scope - 30 credits.
• The thesis can be written in Swedish or English.
