About the role

Forsmark nuclear power plant is Sweden's largest electricity producer. The power plant is located about 15 miles northeast of Stockholm, on the Uppland coast in northern Roslagen. We are one of the largest employers in Östhammar municipality with about 1200 employees.

The waterways at Forsmark are a vital part of the production. We want a work aimed at developing a world analysis of how we could inspect and clean water-filled channels. We also want an analysis of the growth rate of biological material in the canals.

The aim of the assignment is to produce a report showing the growth rate of biological material and alternative inspection methods.

This assignment is for 1 or 2 students.

Requirement specification

We are looking for student/students who want to work on contributing to a fossil-free life and who will soon graduate from your academic studies in landscape architecture. You are also someone who identifies with our principles: Active, Open, Positive and Safety

  • Education - Civil Engineering, Environment, Biology or equivalent
  • Scope - 15/30hp
  • Language requirements - Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English
