Company Description

We at Vattenfall are determined to make fossil-free living possible within a generation. To succeed, as one of Europe's largest energy companies, we must first become completely fossil-free ourselves. But that is not enough. To contribute to a fossil-free society, we need to do more than just focus on sustainable energy production.

Because we are convinced that if we are to make it possible to live fossil-free within a generation, we need to look at the challenge from a broader perspective than just producing energy in a sustainable way.

Join us on the road to a fossil-free life.

About the role

About the thesis

  • Economic effects of organizational learning at Ringhals AB
  • Subject area/Assignment

More or less all companies work actively with experience transfer and organizational learning, for example, to improve the quality of their deliveries, streamline their product or ensure that the service they offer is safe and secure. It is particularly important to avoid repeated problems, as these should ideally be caught and solved the first time they occur.

We would like to see a cross-functional approach in the work to see the effects of existing work and development opportunities. Ringhals AB has a comprehensive reporting system that contains a lot of information that is searchable in different ways. The system contains reporting of varying levels. The importance of the nature of the reporting and its relation to learning and economic impact is analyzed.

Ringhals AB works with organizational learning. What lessons can be learned to further increase the economic impact of Ringhals work in this area. As part of our learning, thoughts on how this thesis can be improved from the student's perspective are appreciated.

  • Goal/Purpose

The purpose is to increase the economic impact of Ringhals' experience work and contribute to a more learning organization.

The aim is to contribute to a streamlining of Ringhals working methods and routines.
