About the role

To meet the needs of an exciting time, we need to strengthen the communications department with a web editor. With thoughtful and strong communication both internally and externally, we contribute to enabling the energy transition.

The communication department at Ringhals is now looking for an experienced web editor.

About the job:

The communication department is common to Ringhals and Forsmark's nuclear power plants with a common department manager. Within the department there are local press managers and local unit managers. The two units work closely together to find creative and effective ways of working and solutions for both nuclear power plants.

As a web editor in the Communications Department, you work together with competent, creative and committed colleagues at both Ringhals and Forsmark. Your immediate superior is the Head of Unit at Ringhals.

The trust of the outside world is a prerequisite for operating nuclear power plants and everything we do in the Communications Department contributes in some way to maintaining and strengthening our trust. We have an important task.

Requirements specification

In your role:

In the role of web editor, you are an important team player in the Ringhals and Forsmark joint editorial team. Together with the rest of the team, you evaluate, plan and implement varied communication assignments for publication in our various channels, internally and externally. You collaborate with others in the communications department to develop effective working methods in the field. There is also a lot of interaction with the rest of the organization, such as department heads, project managers and staff from other departments at both nuclear power plants. The role also includes supporting the organization at major meetings and events.

Overall tasks:

  • Work with content production for our channels, such as writing, photo and film assignments.
  • Plan and coordinate and adapt content together with the editorial team in all channels.
  • Receive news tips, answer incoming questions and monitor the inbox as editor of the day 1-2 times a week.
  • Have an eye for detail and ensure that published material is of a high standard.
  • Work to increase attractiveness and strengthen the workplace brand, internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • High school or university degree in media and communication or similar education, or documented experience in the communications industry.

You are a confident and creative web editor with a couple of years of experience. You thrive on creating varied and targeted content, with the aim of creating value and trust, internally and externally. You are curious, self-motivated and take initiative to develop and strengthen our communication. The fact that you are easy to understand complex issues and see the different needs of target groups will make you both thrive and succeed in this role.
