Your role as a Wind Power Technician

We offer a future profession that is both varied and free. You will have the opportunity to use and develop your technical skills through varied projects with great responsibility. The service places high demands on accuracy and safety awareness, we are extremely keen that our service work is carried out with the highest quality under safe conditions.

Your duties will mainly be:

• Troubleshooting and repair of wind turbines, both mechanical and electrical
• Service and maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with service agreements
• Projects and consulting assignments in the industry
• Wind measurement assignments
• Responsibility and care of service car with associated equipment and tools
• Daily reporting and registration in our business system

Primarily, the location is Storuman. Work can also occur in other locations, therefore we wish that you look positively on traveling.

Requirement specification

We are looking for you who are motivated by solving technical problems and who take great responsibility for your tasks. You are methodical and thorough in your approach. You enjoy working with others and see collaboration as a success factor. Furthermore, you are good at communicating and can navigate through situations that are not always crystal clear.

We only work at customers' facilities, so we want you to be service-oriented and flexible in your approach and mindset.

With us at Vattenfall Services, safety always comes first, so we see that you have a high safety mindset and prioritize safety in all work steps! We attach great importance to your personal qualities.

We know that you will develop with us. But we are happy to see that you already have:

• An education as a wind turbine technician or equivalent
• Have good knowledge of machine / mechanics, either through education or experience
• An education on any turbine type, it is meritorious
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing
• General computer skills and B-driving license are a requirement, BE driving license can be meritorious
• The work takes place at high altitude, which places great demands on you to have good body physics
• Approved certificate for high-altitude work can be meritorious
