About the role

We are currently looking for technicians who want to build and maintain the electricity grid of the future.

About the service

As a technician at Gotlands Elnät, you work in a group of competent colleagues who are tasked with building, maintaining and troubleshooting overhead lines, underground cables and network stations. The technicians themselves describe the work as varied and that you work independently with your tasks. If you like to work in the fresh air with a strong purpose and where you have the whole of Gotland as your workplace, this may be the position for you.

This is what you will do

• You work in the field with new connections, repairs and new construction as well as operation and maintenance work on our network, on both low and high voltage.
• Work with both preventive and emergency measures to reduce operational disturbances.
• Be involved in developing our working methods for a world-class working environment.

Requirement specification

• Education in electricity or experience in electricity (for example, you may have worked as an electrician, installer or similar).
• You need to have a manual B driving license for this role. BE and/or C driving license is meritorious.
• If you have previously worked with electrical power, it is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you like to solve technical problems in a thorough and structured way. You enjoy the freedom of work and have a desire to make a difference in your role.
