Hitachi Energy's production unit in Piteå, Composites, manufactures composite parts for large electrical transformers, switches and switchgear for customers around the world. The demand for our products and services is growing rapidly and we are therefore now expanding our organization. You now have the chance to become part of our Marketing & Sales team in Piteå as our next Area Sales Manager.

As Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for sales and support to key customers around the world. This also means a responsibility for your customers regarding commercial issues and the development of our products and services towards the customer.

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct marketing and sales activities towards existing and new customers.
  • Together with the customer develop the business technically and commercially.
  • Represent Hitachi Energy.
  • Independently drive development within your area of responsibility while having the ability to strengthen collaboration within the team.
  • You share Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions, your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Several years of work experience in B2B sales.
  • Technical education combined with experience and interest. Advantageous if you have a technical education, such as a technical bachelor's degree, vocational college in the relevant field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge from previous positions.
  • The role requires you to be good at communicating and have a good ability to build trust in relationships and in networks, thus good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement (spoken and written).
  • You have the ability to work strategically as well as handle details, but always have a proactive approach.
