We are continuing to grow and are currently recruiting for our engineering department at High Voltage Components Avledare, where we are looking for you who want to be part of the green energy transition. Within the design department we have a positive climate where we utilize each other's different backgrounds and skills.

You will be part of an exciting team with one leg in Ludvika and the other in India, where you as an individual get the chance to develop both as a designer and as a person, and get the chance to immerse yourself in the technology of products to improve the quality of electricity in our power grid.

How you will impact

• Order construction of arresters, which includes CAD work (Creo) for layout drawings and detail drawings as well as producing material specifications in the SAP business system.
• Work with colleagues to run technical projects, evaluate customer specifications and prepare/lead design studies for delivery projects to our customers worldwide.
• Quality assurance by reviewing colleagues' designs.
• Support the sales department in finding technical solutions and preparing tender drawings.
• Contribute to the development of the department's working methods and tools and work with continuous improvements.

Your background

• You have a technical education, preferably with a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• You have experience of design work, preferably mechanical design as the main area.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools, Creo is an advantage.
• Experience of working in business systems, SAP is an advantage.
• You must be comfortable with having English as a working language, both in speech and writing. There is also a need for you to be able to speak/read Swedish as many of our instructions and job descriptions are still documented in Swedish.
• As a person, you have good collaboration skills and you see challenges as an opportunity.
