Power Transformers is a business unit of Hitachi Energy that manufactures power transformers and reactors up to the very highest power ratings and voltages. The unit also offers diagnostics, regeneration, service and spare parts to customers worldwide. It has cutting-edge expertise in the ultra-high voltage levels required to transmit large amounts of power over long distances. In addition, much of the new technology for power transformers is developed.

We are now looking for a shift Production Manager for Final Assembly, which is a production section at Power Transformers in Ludvika. In the job as a production manager at Power Transformers, we see that you are communicative and have an easy time creating commitment in the group, while you are driven by developing both the organization and your team.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be part of the Power Transformers production unit and be responsible for approximately 20 employees with a focus on quality and performance targets.
  • Ensure that you and your team work safely and securely.
  • Lead and build your team with a positive attitude and knowledge in your field.
  • You will follow the same shift pattern as your team, which means that in the role you will work two shifts (morning and afternoon).
  • Responsible and up to date on the delivery plan to be able to act in the best way to meet deadlines and targets.
  • You will be responsible for driving the department's improvement work as well as financial and personnel responsibilities.
  • Share Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.
  • In addition to the work you do with your employees, you will have many contacts within the company, but also with other units within Hitachi Energy as well as with suppliers and customers.

Your background:

  • We would like you to have previous management experience as a manager or supervisor, or have had the opportunity to lead others in projects.
  • As a leader, you are driven, have a strong desire to improve and the ability to motivate others.
  • You have leadership skills and the ability to create a common vision and the desire to build a successful team.
  • It is an advantage if you have work experience in manufacturing and a good understanding of production flows.
  • It is important that you can handle change with energy, joy and while spreading the commitment to your team.
  • You are quality and results focused with good communication skills and a flexible holistic approach.
  • As you will be working both locally and in an international environment, a good knowledge of English is required, as well as a good knowledge of Swedish.
