The opportunity

We are now looking for a Production Engineer with an interest in production and processes to join our Production Engineering department at High Voltage Breakers. Within the Production Engineering department we are responsible for operational and strategic actions, initiatives, projects and improvements related to production, quality, health & safety and capacity. We work closely with the production team to achieve our common goals, in the short and long term.

We are looking for you who want a job with varied tasks where you are expected to work independently with continuous improvements and development of our existing processes in an assigned area. We are looking for you who want to specialize in flow, process, vaccum, and gas management. In this role, you will independently drive improvements and implement new technologies, equipment and infrastructure to drive our production processes. You will work both long-term with strategic projects to ensure production capacity preventively and operationally in a troubleshooting and supporting role to our maintenance staff and our operators. You will also support the production engineering team with your technical knowledge in the area. It may also be relevant to eventually be part of the operational readiness group for the breakers.

To succeed in this role, you are curious, driven and have good communication skills. The production engineering team works closely together and an important part of the role is to get into the team to utilize the skills of the whole group. In this role, you will have support from experienced colleagues with broad knowledge of our production processes and equipment.

How you will make an impact

  • As an area technician, you are responsible for supporting production in operational and strategic issues regarding maintenance, risk management, quality investigations, and delivery.
  • You lead and work independently in smaller investment projects where you are expected to drive the project from start to finish within time frame and budget, with emphasis on the technical solution.
  • You are expected to contribute with your expertise as an area responsible technician in larger investment and improvement projects and support other production technicians in everyday life.
  • As a technician, you are responsible for developing techniques, methods, equipment and instructions that ensure high technical availability in our production.
  • In the role, you will be responsible for formulating problems, developing requirement specifications, requests for quotations, evaluating quotes and technical solutions and preparing decision-making documents.
  • You are responsible for planning, and following up installation work of new machines, equipment and tools in production and checking the associated documentation.

Your background

  • Your personal qualities are highly valued - You are a structured, driven team player with good communication skills with a keen interest in technology.
  • We would like you to have an engineering degree or in combination with experience from continuous operation, work as a process engineer / technician, or as a Maintenance technician / engineer in the process or control area.
  • Experience from production technology work, work in operation, maintenance in the relevant area is meritorious
  • Fluence in both Swedish and English is required, both in speech and writing.
