The opportunity

Components in Ludvika is part of the Transformers business unit at Hitachi Energy. We are Hitachi's largest manufacturer of transformer components such as winding connectors and bushings. A global customer base both inside and outside Hitachi contributes to a business-driven working environment. We are looking for a new employee who wants to help shape our quality department!

Components Quality Department at Lindningskopplarna

The Quality Department is currently responsible for supporting our production lines with quality issues related to the products and working long-term with our processes and subcontractors. We work with everything from short-term correction of articles to in-depth quality cooperation with our suppliers.

As Components' products are used all over the world, you will be an important part of our ability to deliver quality products on an international market.

We are now looking for a quality technician who can be responsible for and drive the development of our processes in both production and quality. The position involves working actively with follow-up and improvement of both our internal processes and our suppliers.

Your responsibilities

  • Drive improvement activities with the aim of preventing any quality problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify preventive improvement measures.
  • Visualize quality outcomes and work with continuous improvements.

Your background

  • High school degree or equivalent experience in, for example, Technology or Quality.
  • You can easily communicate in both English and Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Basic computer skills.and you master the most common programs in the Office package.
  • Driven personality
  • Strong on planning and prioritization.
  • You are good at communicating and building trust with people from different levels of the organization.
  • Experience in previous quality work is meritorious, but with a driven personality you will go far.
  • Experience from the manufacturing industry is meritorious.
