The opportunity

The Cooling System unit in Landskrona is globally responsible for the development and manufacturing of cooling systems for high voltage applications. Production includes tube and vessel manufacturing, mechanical and electrical assembly, testing and shipping. The products are mainly project-designed, elements of serial production occur, and vary in size from 20 kg up to as much as 15 tons.

The unit comprises 230 dedicated employees and is facing strong growth. Locally at the unit, all functions are represented Marketing, R&D, Design, Aftermarket and Purchasing. This provides short decision-making paths and good understanding between the departments.

How you will make an impact

  • Drive continuous improvement projects and other projects, e.g. expansion of production capacity.
  • Support "LEAN thinking" throughout the organization.
  • Analyze and improve material flow and working methods.
  • Review deviation data and propose and implement improvements, not only within production but also improvements involving other departments.
  • Be involved in new product preparation and revision.

Your background

  • You have an engineering degree or similar, combined with solid experience in production, production management, quality systems and LEAN.
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • As a person, you are driven, analytical, goal-oriented, and have the ability to collaborate with different professional groups.
  • You are stress-resistant, understand the importance of meeting deadlines and see opportunities instead of limitations.
  • You master the Swedish and English languages well and can easily express yourself in both speech and writing.
