High Voltage Service is a separate unit within the High Voltage business unit, based in Ludvika. Our core business is to provide various services and aftermarket support for products belonging to the High Voltage portfolio. Working as a specialist in the HV service teams provides you with an interesting opportunity where you get to contribute with your technical expertise on high voltage products as well as interact and collaborate with sales teams worldwide.

How you will make a difference

  • Provide technical solutions and advice regarding high voltage equipment to sales and customers.
  • Provide product care and identify suitable replacement components and maintain or update documentation.
  • Collaborate with other employees cross-functionally, within the local unit as well as the global organization to achieve goals within the unit.
  • Provide general support to the global team on product specification and suitability issues, as well as provide details and knowledge related to our high voltage products.
  • Monitor change processes initiated on active products and provide input on the impact of the change from a service perspective.
  • Sometimes create reports or formalize technical documentation in the form of FMEA or RCA.

Your background

  • You have extensive work experience in the relevant field, such as field service engineer or order design engineer, R&D work in the high voltage industry or equivalent work experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of high voltage products and High Voltage Circuit Breakers in particular is required for you to succeed in this role.
  • You are happy to take initiative, propose solutions and contribute to our department.
  • You are a collaborative and transparent team player with a holistic perspective on what is best for the company.
  • To succeed in the role, we look for you to have strong communication skills as well as commercial experience. You are also fluent in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or civil engineering, mechanics, power system studies or similar.
