About the position

You and your colleagues in the Environment section form a team that supports the business with specialist expertise in the environmental field. An exciting challenge ahead is to manage environmental issues linked to the ongoing transition and further development of the business in Borlänge.

To meet the demands of the future, we need to strengthen the team in the area of environmental data management, from collection and quality assurance to analysis and reporting, an area that is becoming increasingly important in our sustainability work.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be an active support to the business in the daily environmental work.
  • Develop and quality assure routines and digital tools for collecting, analyzing and reporting environmental data.
  • Drive follow-up and analysis of environmental performance and support the business in the work of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate external environmental measurements linked to condition control and follow-up of BAT-AEL.
  • In close collaboration with the business, translate legal requirements and standard requirements into an effective and business-adapted self-monitoring.
  • Participate in environmental investigations and projects as part of the business support in the environmental field.

About you

  • You have a relevant higher education, preferably in engineering / natural sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have a keen interest in environmental issues in the process industry with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and preferably experience with other analytical tools and handling of large amounts of data.
  • You are systematic, structured and analytical with an ability to present data in a clear way.
  • You are unpretentious and development-oriented, with a willingness to broaden your skills in the mission of the environment function through on-the-job learning.
  • You are service-oriented and responsive to the needs of the business and can easily switch between different tasks.
  • You are a team player while being able to work independently and solve challenges in a systematic way.
  • You have a good command of Swedish and English in both speech and writing and can communicate in a clear and simple way.
