Ready for a new challenge? We are hiring a SQE for Components in Ludvika, Hitachi Energy Sweden!

You will be part of a small but growing team. To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication and organizational skills as you will act as a link between different internal departments such as SCM, Technology and Quality.

An important part of the role is to ensure our customer satisfaction by qualifying new suppliers as well as conducting audits of existing suppliers in order to ensure our supply chain.

You have a driving license and a willingness to travel both locally and globally.

Your responsibilities

• Qualify new suppliers and re-evaluate existing supplier base by performing audits.
• Lead the supplier non-conformance resolution process for escalated technical issues and ensure effective root cause analysis and actions.
• Monitor and consolidate supplier delivery and quality KPIs
• Develop our quality processes against our supplier base.
• Ensure that we work proactively with our suppliers to ensure we get the right quality of material we buy.
• Responsible for running our outage tests (PPAP)

Your background

• You have experience or education in quality, supply, manufacturing production or materials science.
• Relevant experience in quality work in manufacturing industry and/or experience with supplier realtions.
• Good understanding of quality and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, A3, Poka-Yoke) and practical experience in technical problem solving.
• Experience in process audits and Statistical Process Control.
• Knowledge of ISO-9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma training and certification is meritorious.
• Material knowledge in metal, plastic, composite is meritorious
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and oral.
