We are looking for a Tender/Quotation Specialist to join an international team of 11 people with offices in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. In this exciting role, you will translate customer needs and challenges into a competitive offer from Hitachi Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Services. Working closely with the customer and other teams within Hitachi Energy, take action to identify new business opportunities for Hitachi Energy.

Your responsibilities

• Understand customer processes and values
• Responsible for and participate in meetings with customers and propose appropriate optimized solutions and contracts in accordance with the company's strategy and tender policy.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and your knowledge of customer needs.
• Find the right solutions at the right time at the right price and be responsible for both new sales and upgrading offerings to modern technologies.
• Use bidding processes and proposal and offer administration tools as well as risk review guidelines.
• Close follow-up of sales orders through collaboration with the project management team.
• Live the core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Swedish mother tongue and fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement
• We are looking for a driven, committed and service-minded person who can work both independently and in teams.
• You have good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• You are an electrical engineer with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of grid connection technology
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
