The opportunity

HV Breakers (High Voltage Breakers) is a business unit within Hitachi Energy that has worldwide responsibility for the development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. The high voltage breaker is an essential part of a reliable and energy efficient power system.

We are looking for testers for our business unit HV Breakers in Ludvika. We offer you a stimulating work environment where you can develop and become an important team player. You will be part of a team, with other testers and, among other things, perform electrical and mechanical testing of high-voltage breakers.

How you will make an impact

  • Perform both technical and electrical testing of high voltage circuit breakers as well as leak detection.
  • The role includes tasks such as troubleshooting and assembly.
  • Work in an environment that places high demands on electrical safety, personal safety and quality.
  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships through good communication and service.
  • In this role you will work shifts.

Your background

  • High school education or equivalent professional experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and meritorious if you have product knowledge of Switches and its components and materials.
  • As a person, you are driven, responsible and appreciate solving problems.
  • We see that you are communicative and have the ability to maintain good customer relationships.
  • You are driven by a high safety mindset and feel proud to deliver high quality work.
  • Good ability to read and understand technical drawings and schedules.
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
